Equipment Operator

An Equipment Operator is a capable and experienced individual who is responsible for operating heavy machinery during residential construction projects in a safe and efficient manner. This includes overseeing the loading, unloading, moving, maneuvering, and operation of the machinery within the job site. The operator must be knowledgeable of the machine’s capabilities as well as have an awareness of the potential risks associated with these operations. In order to do this, they must possess a thorough understanding of the safety regulations and protocols that are in place in order to ensure the protection of both personnel and equipment. Furthermore, they must be able to complete daily maintenance tasks for their machinery as well as inspect it prior to use.
